Add to calendar
One tap creates a calendar entry with the time, place and description, using the standard .ics format that common calendar apps understand.
An event QR code opens a mobile event page with the date, venue map, schedule, speakers and registration link, and lets guests save the event to their calendar in one tap. Print it on posters, invitations and badges, then update the details whenever plans change.
Sign in to a free Qdestera account, choose the Event type and fill in only what your event needs – every field except the title and date is optional.
Add the title, a subtitle, start and end time (or mark it as all-day), the venue name and address with a map link, and an online link for virtual or hybrid events.
Build the schedule day by day with time slots, session titles and speakers. Add speaker profiles with a name, job title and short bio, plus the organizer's email, phone and website.
Link to your registration or ticket page and show the price, capacity and registration deadline so guests know where they stand before they click.
Choose a template and accent color, upload up to 8 images, then design the QR code and download it as PNG, SVG, JPG or PDF.
An event QR code is a printed shortcut to everything a guest needs to know about your event. Instead of squeezing times, rooms and speaker names onto a flyer, you print one code. Guests scan it with their phone camera and get a clean mobile page with the full details, a map and an “add to calendar” button.
The code is a dynamic QR code: it stores a short link, and the page behind it is edited in your dashboard. If the start time moves, a speaker cancels or you switch to a bigger room, you change the page. Posters already on the walls keep pointing to the right information.
There are two ways to use it. The standard mode shows the event page. Direct calendar mode skips the page: scanning downloads an .ics file, which the phone offers to add to its calendar. That suits save-the-date cards, where the date is all that matters.
Show as much or as little as your event needs. Empty fields simply stay hidden.

A countdown to the start builds anticipation. Turn it off if it does not suit the tone of your event.
Organize sessions by day with times, titles, speakers and short descriptions, so guests can plan which talks to attend.
Introduce speakers with a title and bio, and show how to reach the organizer by email, phone or website.
Give the venue name and address with a map link, and add a streaming or meeting link for people joining remotely.
Price, capacity and deadline appear next to a button that opens your own registration or ticketing page.
All three templates use your accent color and show the same information. They differ in how much room the cover image gets.
A cover image on top, followed by the title, key facts and the calendar button. A safe choice for most conferences, workshops and meetups.
A tall, full-width cover with the title laid over the image, like a concert or exhibition poster. Best when you have a strong key visual.
No cover image, just an accent stripe and clear text. Ideal for internal events, trainings and formal invitations.
Put the code wherever people first hear about your event, and again where they need directions on the day. More ideas on our page about QR codes for events.
Keep the design clean: a headline, a date and one code that carries all the details.
Weddings, galas and launches: guests scan once and never lose the time or address again.
Attendees reopen the schedule during the day. Add a Wi-Fi QR code next to it so they get online too.
Share the agenda, room and online link for hybrid sessions in one place.
Put the code on stand graphics and brochures so visitors can check talks and times later.
You can switch between the two modes at any time, even after printing.

Posters are scanned from a few steps away, so the code must be much larger than on a flyer. Our print size calculator gives a size for your distance.
“Scan for the schedule and add it to your calendar” gives people a reason to reach for their phone.
Keep the event name, date and city next to the code, so people know at a glance whether it is for them.
When something changes, edit the page first, then tell guests where to look. Every printed code already points there.
After the event, add a thank-you note or a few photos, or point people to the slides. Posters and invitations keep being scanned for a while.
Scan with an iPhone and an Android phone, and try the calendar button on both before the print run.
Qdestera does not sell tickets or check guests in at the door. The event page links to the registration or ticketing service you already use, and shows the price, capacity and deadline you enter.
What you do get is a clear view of interest. QR code analytics show scans over time, the countries and cities they come from and the phone operating systems used – a quick way to compare how posters, mailings and badges perform.
Print the code now and finish the programme later. Your event page updates the moment you save.
